"So I ordered both the Stakt weights and Bala bars to compare them. The Stakt weights have a great ergonomic feel and, most importantly, no odor. The pieces screw in very easily considering those areas are all metal. They were heavier than I was anticipating and was a bit hesitant to be honest. I was looking for a 2lb weight. But I started getting emails from them with exercise ideas and online classes, and it got me really excited about the different ways I can use the weights. Then the Bala bars came in the 2lb size, and even though I didn’t see any reviews on this, mine do smell a little bit. It’s not a chemical smell or a sour smell, but it is something funky, and they haven’t aired out. So I will be returning them. However, I’m very pleased with these Stakt weights. I like that I can adjust the weight, and I like the look of them, they feel more mature. Looking forward to toned arms!"
